Resize PDF pages
Put each page on A4, US Letter, A3, A5, Legal or a custom-size sheet. Fit the whole page, fill the sheet, or keep the original size, with an optional margin.
How it works
- Add the PDF. The tool lists the page sizes it finds, with the paper name where a size matches one.
- Choose the pages, the sheet size, the orientation, how the page sits on the sheet and a margin.
- Resize. The result is reopened and its page count and each page's size are checked before the download appears.
How pages are placed
- Fit scales the whole page up or down, never stretching it, so it sits inside the margin area. Spare space is left blank.
- Fill scales the page until it covers the margin area, and clips what falls outside.
- Keep original size does not scale. The page is centred and anything outside the margin area is clipped.
- Orientation can follow each page, or be forced to portrait or landscape. A page that is stored turned is placed the way you see it.
- Pages you did not choose are copied unchanged.
What is not carried over
Each resized page is placed on its new sheet as a single graphic. Text stays text, but links, form fields and annotations on those pages are not carried over. The tool counts them before you run it and again after. If a form needs to stay fillable, do not resize it with this tool.

Frequently asked questions
- Will the text stay selectable?
- Yes. The page is placed as a graphic, and its text remains text. Links, form fields and annotations on resized pages are not kept.
- Is the file uploaded?
- No. The file is read and rewritten in your browser, and no request carries it. Your original file is never changed.
- Will my pages be stretched?
- No. Pages are scaled evenly. With Fit, a page of a different shape leaves blank space; with Fill, part of the page is clipped.
- How do I change A4 to Letter?
- Choose the US Letter sheet and Fit. The tool shows the page sizes it found and names the paper where one matches within about 2 points.
- Can I resize only some pages?
- Yes. Choose all pages, odd pages, even pages, or type a list such as 1-3, 7. The rest are copied unchanged.
- Is the page size the same as the printed size?
- The page size is what the file says. Printing scale is set in the print dialog, so choose actual size there if you need the paper size to match.
- How do I know the result is right?
- After resizing, the tool reopens the new PDF and checks the page count and every page's size, including that pages you did not choose kept theirs. Only small generated files have been measured, so look at the result before you send it.
